In addition plan an offsite exclusive lunch event at a nearby venue for partners and potential investors to meet and network over lunch.
The results of this project are an impressive 15 sqm stand space at MIPIM in Cannes, and an event attended by over 20,000 visitors. The Central South at MIPIM stand showcased a video showreel, all partners brands, a dedicated publication (Prosper), stand activity schedule, corporate gifts, and stand hospitality including champagne, Portsmouth Gin and Dorset chocolates. Scanner guns to capture the visitors data will be used post-event by the partners. Included in the planning was all travel for the delivery team and the creation of a comprehensive partner pack to ensure the 30+ contingency travelling to Cannes have all the support and information on hand. An offsite exclusive lunch for 65 at L’Alba on the beach, guests were able to walk along the promenade to the exclusive lunch location and enjoy fine dining.

A buzzing and busy stand located near the entrance of MIPIM UK, incorporating activity, videos, and speakers throughout the 3 days. Continuous hospitality on the stand was available incorporating local produce from Hampshire. Collaborating with the 18 partners to ensure all parties were represented and involved in the organisation of the event. A data capture process to ensure all partners could make essential follow-ups post-exhibition. An offsite exclusive lunch for 60 VIP guests at the Belvedere, Holland Park, guests were collected from MIPIM UK by a branded London Double Decker Bus and taken to the lunch venue for a champagne reception and fine dining, during lunch there were industry speakers and an opportunity for the partners of this event to network with investors and developers away from the main exhibition.
Curate an Awards event to celebrate the work of the dedicated hospitality staff working at stadia across the UK, including creating the award categories, judging criteria, and finding and liaising with sponsors, awards presenters, and judges to compliment the event. Designing the event to be entertaining from start to finish and include an after-party with entertainment.
For over 10 years Shirley was the project leader of this amazing annual event and is still involved. These prestigious awards were held in stadia across the UK including Chelsea Football Club, Aston Villa, Liverpool Football Club, Leicester City, Brighton & Hove Albion, and many more... Working with partners and suppliers all over the UK these awards have grown to be an important fixture on the sporting calendar for stadia across the UK.

Working with the fabulous team at Carswell Gould to project manage the event together we formed a board, secured sponsorship, education partners and have delivered 5 successful Venturefest South events. In 2019 we had over 1000 attendees throughout the day and over 80 exhibiting partners, innovators, young entrepreneurs, and businesses.
